Huge, metallic-tinged Post-Rock music for fans of Pelican, Isis, Mogwai and Cult of Luna, though We Lost The Sea also incorporate stately orchestral/near ambient-like passages ('The Vessel') and elements of the hard-hitting noise metal of Will Haven ('Balaklava Cold'), especially with the strained vocals peppered throughout. 'March To Scutari' is an absolute behemoth and an LP showpiece, but the likes of 'Hail! Star..' is also as hypnotic as it is spectacular. Logen Ninefingers
A more energetic take on one of my favorite post rock albums of all time. Keeps Departure Songs fresh, while still keeping what made it so special illiest_man_living
